Office Redo

Busy weekend at BabyLove.  We had the Small Talk class on Saturday morning, which was reportedly a wonderful time. (The next class is in March May).  Shortly after class ended, two men showed up in a van to take away this old monstrosity:

It was a good desk, but huge and heavy and just ONE desk for the two of use to share.  So, we’ve spent the last couple of months being thrifty and searching Craigslist for just the right desks and pieces to add to our space.  And while it took about 3 hours to make the change, it was worth it.  We’ve gotten rid of the curtain, which means the room has really opened up.  We’re in the process of filling the empty walls, and changing some more of the storage options.  It’s getting there.  We’ll work on getting a nicer picture, too, but here’s an after:

What do you think?  Love it?  Hate it?

Opening BabyLove in September of 2011 has allowed me to build a space where all families can come to get good information in a caring, welcoming environment. I have found that not only do I love teaching more than ever, but I also really love running a business. Hopefully my passion for every aspect of BabyLove shines through.
I live in Richfield with my husband, and I am a mother of a two great children. When I can steal a few free moments, I love to go on adventures with my family, cook, garden, thrift, can, and craft.
